Trevor Dodkins started his career in the early 1980s as a planning officer with three local authorities, one London and two in Essex, Castle Point and Thurrock, before venturing into the private sector, spending 11 years with Andrew Martin Associates, where he was responsible for some of the firm’s larger projects, including Beaulieu Park in Chelmsford.
He spent 4 years as Associate Director with Countryside Properties, working on the implementation of many of the company’s residential schemes, before a spell with City and Country, where he secured consents for residential development at Warley Hospital in Brentwood and Balls Park in Hertford.
In 2005 he joined Savills as Director responsible for developing planning consultancy in the Chelmsford office, before leaving with 3 other senior colleagues to join Strutt and Parker as a Partner. He was Partner and Head of Planning at the Cambridge office of Carter Jonas before setting up Phase 2 Planning and Development jointly with Kevin towards the end of 2011.
