Major Residential Development
Springhead Park forms one of the four Quarters of the Ebbsfleet Valley planning permission, now included as part of the Ebbsfleet Garden City. It occupies a key strategic location in Kent Thameside.
Following the stalling of development in 2012 due to infrastructure and viability constraints, the Practice co-ordinated the submission of twin s73 applications to revise the original Outline Planning Permissions granted by Gravesend and Dartford Councils, to remove the barriers to continued delivery.
Following extensive discussion and joint working with the respective Councils, revised Outline permissions were granted by the newly formed Ebbsfleet Development Corporation in February 2016. Construction recommended on site in April 2016.
The Practice is currently acting in respect of the preparation and submission of further Reserved Matters applications for Springhead Park, which is expected to deliver in the order of 800 new homes overall.
