Grade II* Listed Building / Conversion
The former Angel Croft hotel had stood vacant for many years, in a central location close to the Cathedral in the historic town of Lichfield.
The building is a Grade II* Listed, and includes elegant wrought ironwork to the site frontage, the imposing Hotel building itself, and a walled garden and Bothy to the rear.
Working with local planning and conservation officers, and following comments from Historic England, planning permission and Listed Building consent was secured by the Practice in 2014 for the conversion of the main building to 8 residential apartments, and the extension and conversion of the Bothy to the rear as an additional residential unit.
